001 - Easy Projectile Motion
Easy Projectile Motion is a graphic simulation of two types of projectile motion. (1)a projectile fired horizontally from an elevation (2)a projectile fired at an angle from ground level. The program permits the student to separate the actual motion in the horizontal and vertical components. There are three options available when plotting the projectile motion: ( 1)plot horizontal motion only (2)plot vertical motion only (3)plot both horizontal and vertical combined motions.
A large variety of exercise problems is provided.
Students can determine the horizontal or vertical positions by calculation, verify their calculations with the vernier scales in the simulation, and then check their answers by viewing the correct answers.

002 - EasyConicSections
EasyConicSections gives students the ability to plot the equations of lines, circles, parabolas, hyperbolas, cubics and ellipses quickly. They can then study the changes in the equations as they vary the parameters of the functions.
Solutions to systems of equaltions may be graphically determined. A set of movable x,y verniers enables the user to determine the intersection of two conic sections, thus providing the graphical numeric solution to the equations.
This program is recommended for any Math class which studies conic sections. It is also recommended for Home Schooling for providing a method to study systems of equations.

004 - Easy Radio Active Dating
Easy Radio Active Dating is a computer simulation based on the method used by scientist to determine the age of a sample of material. In the case of carbon dating, the ratio of carbon 14 to carbon 12 is used. Carbon 14 is the radio active isotope of carbon 14.
The method of radio active dating is explained with several demonstrations. The student then has the opportunity to try their skill in determining the age of a number of samples.
The student's ability to determine the age of the samples is measured by a %Error Report.

005 - Easy Half Life
Easy Half Life is a computer simulation of how a scientists determines the half life of a radio active isotope. The program plots the decay curve of the isotope and instructs students how to use the curve to determine the half life of a series of real elements.
After the demonstration phase, student progress to a practice session in which they investigate the half life of unknow isotopes.
The student's ability to determine the experimental half life is measured by a %Error Report. This is a fun way to teach half life.

This program provides a laboratory like experience to the user. The standard pipette and beaker are pictured. As the sample drips into the beaker, the indicator in the beaker changes color at the neutralization point. Normlity and volume of different bases are given. The volume of the acid is determined, and the student uses the standard
N1 x V1 = N2 x V2 equation to determine the normality of the sample.
There are three phases to the program: (1) Learning the technique (2) practicing the technique and (3) dealing with unknowns.
