Easy Radio Active Dating is a computer simulation based on the method used by scientist to
determine the age of a sample of material. In the case of carbon dating, the ratio of carbon 14 to carbon 12 is used. Carbon 14 is the radio active isotope of carbon 14.
The method of radio active dating is explained with several demonstrations. The student then has the opportunity to try their skill in determining the age of a number of samples.
The student's ability to determine the age of the samples is measured by a %Error Report.
