Easy Half Life is a computer simulation of how a scientists determines the half life of a radio
active isotope. The program plots the decay curve of the isotope and instructs students how to use the curve
to determine the half life of a series of real elements.
After the demonstration phase, student progress to a practice session in which they investigate the half life
of unknow isotopes.
The student's ability to determine the experimental half life is measured by a %Error Report. This is a fun way to teach half life.
