Slope Fields of Differential Equations is componed of 30 differential equations which are either first or second derivatives.. The program evaluates the derivative’s value which in the case of the first derivative is the tanagent to the original function curve and in the case of the second derivative is the tangent to the first derivative of the function curve.

Once the value of the tangent is determined the program draws a small vector at the angle of the tangent at a point on the cure where the tangent is determined. If the tangent evaluates to zero, a red horizontal vector is plotted otherwise the vector is plotted in black at the angle of the tangent. .
